Roger Lynn Coleman, 75, of Kansas City, Mo., passed away on November 6, 2022, at his home. Visitation will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday, November 17, 2022, at Heartland Funeral Home in Raytown, Mo., with memorial service to follow at 12 p.m.

Mr. Coleman was born May 15, 1947, in Kansas City, Mo. He was a radioman in the Army, serving with the 4th Battalion/14th Infantry in the Vietnam War.

He was a hero in many eyes, and a proud American who loved his country. He was preceded in death by his father Hugh Coleman, mother Myrtle Coleman, sister Barbara Coleman, and brother Howard Coleman.

He is survived by his sister Gayle Haskins, granddaughter Caitlyn Coleman, and several nieces and nephews.
