Ronald D. Campbell, 76, of Independence, Mo. passed away on November 2, 2022. A visitation will be held from 9-10 a.m. followed by a memorial service at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, November 9 at Speaks Suburban Chapel, 18020 E 39th St., Independence. Burial will follow at Floral Hills East in Lee’s Summit. Ronald was born October 2, 1946, in Brookfield, Mo. to Jack and Thelma (Hill) Campbell. After serving in the Army, Ron went to work and subsequently retired from Ford Motor Co. where he was a painter. Ronald enjoyed spending time with his children and grandchildren. He was proceeded in death by his parents and by his wife, Mary Campbell. Ron is survived by his son, Christopher Campbell; daughter, Shannon Grzybowski; 11 grandchildren, Lea Barton, Finn Grzybowski, Audriana Spangle, Jacob Campbell, Autumn Campbell, Henry Campbell, Zack Campbell, Lilli Campbell, Lochlan Campbell, River and Georgia Campbell; and sister, Judy Myers.
