The Fort Osage senior notched a hat trick during 7-1 a Suburban Middle Seven home win over North Kansas City Thursday.

Aspen O’Neal, Emily Jungmeyer and Karlee Tatum also scored goals for the Indians (6-7, 4-1 conference).

Fort’s junior varsity won 6-0 and the C team won 3-0.

LIBERTY 8, TRUMAN 0: The Patriots continued to struggle on offense by getting only one shot on goal during a Suburban Middle Six loss to the Blue Jays Thursday.

Truman fell to 3-7 overall and 0-2 in the conference.

Shae Turner and Emily O’Hair each scored two goals for Liberty, who held a 15-1 shots-on-goal advantage. Truman goalkeeper Jessica Curtis made seven saves.

“We didn't come out ready but showed some grit to battle through the rest of the game,” Truman coach Jared Byrne said.
