Zach Davenport is on fire.

He won yet another medal and he and two other Patriot golfers put together career rounds to win a three-team match against William Chrisman and Raytown Wednesday at the Blue River Golf Academy.

Truman shot a 158 as a team, Raytown had a 178 and finished second and William Chrisman was third with a 195.

“The resiliency our guys displayed today after losing last night just proves to Coach Tyler and myself that we truly have something special with this group of boys,” Truman coach Joey Penner said.

Leading Truman was Davenport, who earn medalist honors with a 35. Completing the scoring for Truman was Tanner Beuttgenbach (37), Josh Evans (39), Blake Jones (47) and Braden Thomas (47).

For Chrisman, Eli Marten led the team with a 41, Daveon Lopez shot a 46, Seth Curtis 52 and Jeff Parker 57.

Dylan Gercone was the top-man for Raytown with a 42.

In the junior varsity match, Truman won with a 143, Raytown was second with a 165 and Chrisman was third with a 206.

PARK HILL 164, FORT OSAGE 191: Sam Morgan shot 45 but host Fort Osage dropped a dual to the Park Hill Trojans Wednesday at par-36 WinterStone Golf Course.

All four Fort Osage golfers broke 50, as Coby Berg (48), Ethan Carson (49) and Jaden Richardson (49) completed the Indians' scorecard.

Park Hill's Timmy Cation shot 38 to earn medalist honors.
