Cody Oliphant helped the Fort Osage baseball team even its mark in the Northland Tournament.

After a 4-1 loss to Kearney Tuesday, Oliphant threw six scoreless innings to boost the Indians to a 4-1 victory over the Park Hill Trojans Wednesday at Fort Osage High School.

“Cody Oliphant threw a quality start,” Indians coach Chris Walker said. “We got two big RBIs from Caleb Jonas and Payton Toliver.”

Oliphant allowed six hits and two walks and struck out five for the win.

Toliver doubled and Jonas singled and each had an RBI as the Indians scored three runs in the fourth and one in the fifth before allowing a single run to the Trojans in the seventh.

Blake Mullendore went 2-for-3 and scored a run.
