The Fort Osage soccer team rallied from a 1-0 halftime deficit for a Suburban Middle Six win Thursday.
Kegan Lammering and Jake Lammering scored in the second half as the host Indians edged North Kansas City 2-1.
"We looked great in the second half after struggling early,” Fort Osage coach Andrew Fletcher said. “We responded well to earn the win."
The Indians improved to 6-1-1 overall and 1-1 in the conference.
North Kansas City won the junior varsity game 2-1.
BLUE SPRINGS SOUTH 3, HARRISONVILLE 0: Blue Springs South improved to 2-0 in the Smithville Tournament and 3-5-1 overall with a shutout of Harrisonville Thursday.
Keavin Hart recorded his third shutout in goal. Dylan Fox scored on an Ethan Davis assist in the 21st minute. Bryce Millican (Brett Vaughn assist) and Quentin Hill added second-half goals.
“The boys really executed the game plan well tonight,” Jaguars coach Jon Grice said. “Our attacking runs were dangerous and our possession was very good. We did a fantastic job of moving the ball around the field, changing the point of attack, and finding the best option in most cases.”
