Kansas City Phantoms quarterback Donovan Portiere completed 20 of 33 passes for 196 yards and six touchdowns Saturday.

He also threw a pair of costly interceptions – including one with just 1:19 remaining that sealed a 69-55 victory for the Sioux City Bandits Saturday at the Tyson Events Center in Sioux City, Iowa.

Henry Livingston got both interceptions against Portiere, returning the second for a touchdown late in the game.

Sioux City running back Darrian Miller, a Blue Springs High School graduate and a former Phantom, scored on a 6-yard run with 32 seconds remaining in the first half to give the Bandits a 34-33 lead.

The Phantoms tied it three times in the second half but could never take the lead and fell to 1-3 overall. Kansas City was hurt by 13 penalties for 96 yards.
