The Van Horn wrestling team captured its seventh straight Crossroads Conference championship Thursday.

The Falcons topped Summit Christian Academy 66-12 and Bishop Ward 78-6 to repeat again as league champion.

The Falcons took advantage of nine forfeit wins to beat Summit Christian. Keanu Sua (182 pounds) won with a first-period pin, and Caleb Allee (160) and Steven Kampos (126) each won decisions as the Falcons won three of the five contested matches.

Noah Rash (132) and Casey Noel (138) won with pins for Summit Christian, which beat Bishop Ward 23-12.

OAK GROVE 43, PLEASANT HILL 24: Oak Grove posted six pins on the way to a Missouri River Valley Conference West dual home win over Pleasant Hill Thursday.

Tyler Curd (285) won his fall in just 41 seconds. Kaden Scarborough (113), Cole Chaney (120), Keegan Scarborough (126), Adrian Whitehead (160) and Noah Sears (170) also recorded pins for the Panthers.

Evan Hall (132) won a 13-4 major decision and Zander Brinegar won a 10-6 decision.
