The Blue Springs boys swimming and diving team had little trouble winning a three-team meet Thursday at St. Joseph.

The Wildcats defeated host St. Joseph Central 133-67 and topped first-year program Savannah 131-69.

Tim Schweizer and Cogan Davis each earned a pair of individual victories and helped a pair of relay teams to victory to spark the Wildcats.

Schweizer won the 50-yard freestyle in 23.21 seconds and took the 100 freestyle in 56.23. He teamed with Cogan Davis, Larry Baldwin and Jack Johnson for the win in the 200 free relay (1:41.6), and combined with Grayden Peoples, Baldwin and Gabe Marthaler in the 400 freestyle relay win.

Davis won the 200 freestyle (2:00.04) and 100 backstroke (59.34) and teamed with Marthaler, Peoples and William Smalley for a win in the 200 medley relay (1:51.91).

Peoples won the 100 butterfly (59.15) and Marthaler prevailed in the 100 breaststroke (1:10.11).
