The Fort Osage volleyball team continued its strong start to the season by cruising to a win in its Suburban Middle Seven opener.
Kendra Siefker knocked down nine kills to help lead the Indians to 25-18, 25-19 wins over visiting Oak Park Tuesday.
“It was a total team effort, and I am proud of the team’s work thus far in our season. It was a great way to open our conference play,” coach Vanessa Gage said after her team improved to 8-1 overall and 1-0 in the conference.
Rachel Tharp added eight kills and Aly Young had seven to help spark the Indians.
Oak Park won the junior varsity match 25-18, 25-18.
