Who is your most inspirational teacher and why?

It’s a tie between Mrs. Kelli Morrill, my former debate teacher, and Mrs. Pattie Balano, my former biomed teacher. To me, they were two of the most caring teachers I’ve ever had. These two have not only taught me to excel in debate and biomed but have inspired me to push through unfortunate events that they encountered and rise to the top.

What college are you attending, and why did you pick that school?

I’ll be attending UMKC School of Medicine’s six-year B.A./M.D. program. I chose it to get immersed into its distinguished docent system, to get early clinical exposure as soon as three weeks into the program, and to not have to take the MCAT.
