Who was your most inspirational teacher and why?

The teachers that inspired me the most were Carl Bruno for AP Language and Composition and Andrew Plaster for AP European History. Both teachers taught me how to persevere when I was struggling with my course load, and how to exceed even my own expectations.

What college are you attending and why did you pick that school?

I am attending the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, because I wanted the opportunities of a big university that also had the personalization of a small university. Their structure of the College of Arts and Science appealed to me because of the interdisciplinary approach, which will allow me to easily switch between interests and decide on a major.

What are your plans after college?

I plan to pursue a career within my field of study. I hope to continue participating and being a leader for change and social justice.
