The Independence Patriots chapter of the Sons of the American Revolution on Saturday placed a wreath at the World War I Memorial at Woodland Cemetery in Independence, in honor of those who served and serve in the military forces of the United States. Those taking part were, from left, Stephen Sullins, Michael Hahn, Ron Paris and Alvin Paris, who trace their lineage back to an ancestor who fought in the Revolutionary War.
