Comets nab ‘important win’ over Milwaukee, snap three-game skid

Comets add two veteran players after losing one to injury

The Kansas City Comets have lost a player for the rest of the season but have also added two for their final five regular-season games. The Comets, who have clinched a Major Arena Soccer League playoff berth and stand at third place at 13-4-2 with 41 points, announced Thursday night that defender Chase Peterson would miss the rest of the season after suffering a torn calf muscle.
