The chance of rain picks up at midnight and lasts through Friday and beyond.

The National Weather Service said no severe weather is expected overnight, but there will be scattered thunderstorms Friday morning. Later in the day, a mass of unstable air opens the possibility of supercells forming, meaning the chance of heavy thunderstorms, possibly including hail and tornadoes. Forecasters advise keeping on the weather in the afternoon and evening.

Saturday looks to be partly cloudy but free of rain, but the chance of thunderstorms returns from Sunday through Wednesday.
