The man was described as being 6 feet tall and weighing 150 pounds. He wore a red mask, dark shirt and pants and gloves. The woman was about 5 foot 7 inches tall and heavy set with black hair and wore a white mask, shirt and jacket.

The robbers held up three employees and took an undisclosed amount of cash from the register and one of the employee’s personal money.

An employee told police she was in the store’s kitchen when the robbers entered. The employee saw the male robber grab another employee who was in the back room.

The male robber pointed a handgun at the employee as she exited the kitchen and entered the main store area.

The female robber tied up the employees with twist ties while the male kept pointing the handgun at her.

A bystander told police he was walking up to the convenience store. He noticed the store lights were shut off. And he saw a white Chevrolet Caprice with black chrome parked outside the store. He began approaching the store’s entrance when two people came out.

The man pointed a handgun at the bystander and told him to “get the (expletive) out.” He ran across the street and hid behind a tree.

The witness said the Chevy Caprice’s license plates were blacked out.

After the robbers left, the witness entered the store and yelled to see if the employees were OK.
