Two Kansas City men face numerous charges after they reportedly stole a truck from Kansas City, a trailer from Raytown and, later, a lawn tractor from Home Depot in Independence.

Rodney T. Reagan, 46, of Kansas City, and Willis L. Trodman, 47, of Kansas City, reportedly stole a truck from Kansas City about 1 a.m. Wednesday, according to Tom Gentry, spokesperson for Independence police.

After stealing a trailer in Raytown, the two men went to Home Depot in Independence and stole a lawn mower, valued at $3,500.

The two men then got on Interstate 70 and led police on a high-speed chase.

Gentry said police put down stop-sticks on the highway to halt the truck.

The men were arrested shortly after without incident.

Charges are pending.
