Eight new fire captains have turned their attention to the problem of changing the department from a 60-hour work week to a 56-hour work week. Where two work shifts had been used, three will take their place. Fourteen firemen have been added to the department. Fire Chief Tom Pollard announced the appointment of the new captains, Robert Lusso, Bobbie Lyday, Calvin Morgan, Douglas Pease, Norman Birch, Delbert Patrick, Charles Kirby and Benton Clyde.
