Truman Road between Crenshaw Road and Missouri 78 will be closed from 7 a.m. Wednesday to 6 p.m. Thursday to allow for the placement of a new 30-inch water line under the roadway.

The details

Truman Road between Crenshaw Road and Missouri 78 will be closed from 7 a.m. Wednesday to 6 p.m. Thursday to allow for the placement of a new 30-inch water line under the roadway. This is part of Phase 6 of the Little Blue Parkway construction project, which will extend the parkway from Necessary Road to Truman Road. The contract total is more than $11 million.

The progress

Little Blue Parkway is a new divided, four-lane road with a shared-use path along one side and a sidewalk along the other side. Bridges will be built over Spring Branch Creek, and a new signalized intersection is planned at Truman Road. Work is expected to be completed by this fall.
