Weird news: A 69-year-old hiker said he was saved from a mountain lion by a bear, and he escaped with minor injuries. The California man said a mountain lion attacked him but fortunately grabbed his backpack instead of his head, and a mother bear who was nearby fought with the cougar and then chased it off. The hiker said he thought the mountain lion was stalking the bear's cub.
