A motorcycle ride on Saturday will benefit a program that helps mothers and their babies.

The second annual Scenic Benefit Ride is sponsored by Baby Grace and Blue Springs Harley-Davidson. It’s a 70-mile ride starting at Blue Springs Harley and ending at Buckner United Methodist Church. Registration, open to all motorcycles and riders, is from 9 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. at Blue Springs Harley-Davidson, 3100 N.W. Jefferson. The fee is $20 for riders and $15 for passengers. Registration includes lunch, from noon to 1:30 p.m. at the church.

Baby Grace, housed at Buckner UMC, supports young mothers with care packages, church camp scholarships, diapers and other items. It has served more than 200 families and expanded to several churches in the Kansas City area and elsewhere.
