Marilyn June Juarez of Rupert, Idaho, known to all who loved her as “Junni”, passed away on Monday, September 26, 2011, at her residence in Rupert, with her husband by her side.

Marilyn June Juarez of Rupert, Idaho, known to all who loved her as “Junni”, passed away on Monday, September 26, 2011, at her residence in Rupert, with her husband by her side.

She was born April 23, 1945, in Independence, Missouri, to Hallis H. Cox and Nellie M. Sandage.  She spent her childhood in Missouri and graduated high school in 1964.  She exceeded in academic activities and was very smart.  Junni attended college in Missouri and in Texas.  Texas is also where Junni met her husband, Candido Juarez, on June 19, 1981.  Junni loved spending time with her husband.  She enjoyed gambling and taking risks.  She was also very fond of flowers.  

Survivors include her husband, Candido Juarez; her daughter, Tiffany Bonson; four grandchildren, Jacob, Patrick, Austin and Megan; her siblings, Stanley, Dani, and Laura.  

Junni was preceded in death by both her parents; her brother, Bart Cox; and sister, Naydeen Evans.  

Junni will be greatly missed by all her family and friends that knew and loved her.    

A vigil service with recitation of the rosary will be held at 7 p.m. Friday, September 30, 2011, at the Morrison Funeral Home, 188 South Hwy 24 in Rupert. The funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11 a.m., Saturday, October 1, 2011, at St. Nicholas Catholic Church, with Father Justin Brady as celebrant.  

Friends and family may call one hour prior to the rosary on Friday at the Funeral Home and one hour prior to the Mass at the Church.
