Joey Kenney was full of excitement as he prepared to walk down the aisle at St. Mark’s Catholic Church to receive his diploma.

“Sure I will miss all of my friends, but I am ready to graduate,” said the St. Mary’s High School graduate. “For all those after me, just work hard because if you don’t, you won’t graduate.”

Fifty students graduated from St. Mary’s High School Sunday. The class included 15 members of the National Honor Society, who wore gold cords during commencement exercises.

The valedictorian is Shauna Bauml and the salutatorian is Maggie O’Neal.

“I am going to miss the cross country team so much because the team was awesome, and the coach was great,” said graduate Sarah White. “It is hard to believe we are graduating, but it is an exciting time.”
