Eric Hudson Weedin, 43, of Buckner, Missouri, passed away March 22, 2011, at KU Medical Center.

Eric was born in Kansas City, Missouri, the son of Morris Hudson Weedin and Betty (Myerson) Weedin.  He worked for Time-Warner Cable as a supervisor and owned his own Disc Jockey business, All-Occasions D.J. Service, in Buckner. Eric loved music and family and was a volunteer for over 20 years at Little Sisters of The Poor.

He is survived by his wife, Kimberly Weedin, and 2 daughters Brooke and Alesha, of the home, his mother and father of Raytown, MO, 1 brother, Russell Weedin and wife, Kimberly, of Peculiar, MO, nephews, Stephen Hercules and Austin Weedin and niece Kristin Hercules, nephew & niece, Brett and Ashley Davis.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests contributions to his daughters.

Funeral service will be at 10 a.m., Friday, March 25, 2011, at St. Regis Catholic Church.  Burial in Buckner Hill Cemetery.  

Visitation will be from 6 p.m. to 8:30 p.m., Thursday, March 24, 2011, at New Salem Funeral Home.
