Nine Missouri pitchers limited Oklahoma State to six hits in the Tigers’ 1-0 victory over the Cowboys on Monday.
Ryan Clubb (1-0) was credited with the win, allowing one hit and striking out one in an inning of relief. Brad Buehler got the save, his second of the season for Missouri (13-14, 4-5 Big 12).
The game remained scoreless through five innings, then Trevor Coleman reached first base on a fielder’s choice, allowing Kyle Mach to score from third in the sixth inning.
Coleman finished 1-for-4.
Ryan Gargano, a Blue Springs South graduate, threw a scoreless third inning for Missouri.
Tyler Lyons (4-2) took the loss, allowing five hits and striking out four in a complete game for the Cowboys (19-8, 3-3).
