The Kansas City Cancer Center-East will be holding two events in December.

At the “Get Energized! An Introduction to Wellness for the Cancer Survivor,” you’ll learn how to address cancer-related fatigue and have better energy in your daily life. Gain tips and tools to get stronger, feel better (both physically and emotionally) and reduce your overall risk for cancer recurrence and other diseases. This free, community wellness program will be held from 11 a.m. to 12:15 p.m., Dec. 8.

If you want to learn how to look your best, even while undergoing cancer treatment, attend the “Look Good: Feel Better” program from 10 a.m. to noon Dec. 9. Cosmetology professionals will lead this American Cancer Society program.

The Cancer Center-East is at 4881 N.E. Goodview Circle in Lee’s Summit. To register for either of these programs, call Sami Papacek at 913-577-5834 or visit www.kccancercenter.com/wellness.
