Independence residents will get a closer look at how their sales tax dollars are spent during Monday night’s City Council study session.


The stormwater and public safety sales tax oversight committees will present their respective reports on how the separate sources of revenue have been spent in recent months.


Other items on Monday’s agenda include city staff reports on Drinking Water Week, an introduction of the city’s newly redesigned website and an update from public works officials on the traffic system and operations.


The meeting starts at 6 p.m. inside the council chambers at City Hall, 111 E. Maple Ave. The meeting also is available live on the city’s website, www.indepmo.org, and on City 7.
