The popular play focuses on two star-crossed lovers, Romeo and Juliet, and their families, the Capulets and Montagues. Set in Verona, the two young lovers keep their love a secret from their families. However, tragedy strikes at the end of the play when the secret relationship is revealed. The deaths of the Romeo and Juliet ultimately unite the feuding families.

One of Shakespeare’s earliest and most popular plays, it has been adapted numerous times for both stage and film, including a 1996 film starring Leonardo DiCaprio and Claire Danes.
