The Eagles tallied 113 points in Saturday’s Brutus Hamilton Invitational to notch a second-place finish behind Smithville(117). Oak Grove (88) ended third.

Grain Valley’s top finishers included Zac Hoover’s victory in the 110-meter hurdles and Daniel Mahurin’s top time in the 200. Hoover and Mahurin also teamed with Ryan Nance and David Hudgens for victories in the 800 and 400 relays.
