The William Chrisman boys soccer team bounced back for a closing victory in the Rolla Tournament.

“It was a good weekend for us,” Chrisman coach John Straub said. “We learned a lot about ourselves and looking forward to the second half of the season.”

Chrisman (3-9) opened with a 3-0 loss to Southern Boone of Ashland, Mo.

Zeck Cotter, Josue Najera and Cesar Palomino scored the goals in a 6-3 loss to host Rolla. Sam Hagen and Matt Flessner each had an assist.

The Bears stopped Ozark 2-0 as Palomino scored a goal and assisted on Cotter’s goal.
