A grand jury in Jackson County has indicted the widow of Randy Stone on a charge of conspiracy to commit murder in the first degree.

Teresa L. Stone, 39, "agreed with David Love that one of more of them  would murder Randy  Stone, and ... one or more of them communicated that they wanted Randy Stone murdered," the closed indictment reads.

Love, the former pastor of New Hope Baptist Church in Independence, which the Stones attended, has been charged with first-degree murder in Randy Stone's death. Stone, 42, was found shot to death March 31, 2010, inside his insurance office just off Noland Road. Stone's family revealed that Love and Teresa Stone were having an affair.

Love, 50, resigned his position at the church shortly after Stone's funeral, which Love presided over, and left town. He was arrested in November 2010 in South Carolina.
