Holly Tarvin had 10 kills  and 3 solo blocks, Taryn Miller nine kills and 13 digs as the Wildcats (7-5, 4-1) bested Raymore-Peculiar 25-13, 25-23 Thursday night.

“Bri Starr did a great job serving,” Blue Springs coach Katie Grusing said.

LEE’S SUMMIT WEST 25-25, TRUMAN 15-13: Visiting Lee’s Summit West posted an easy Suburban Middle Six victory.

PunipuaoFaalili Palaamo’s four kills guided Truman (7-11, 2-2). Becca Jonas had three aces. West remained unbeaten in the conference at 4-0.

BLUE SPRINGS SOUTH 25-25, LIBERTY 14-23: Julia Towler had 15 kills as host Blue Springs South remained undefeated in the Suburban Big Six at 4-0 and improved to 10-2 overall.

Liberty took the junior varsity match 25-22, 27-25.

ST. MARY’S 25-25-24-25, SHERWOOD 16-22-26-24: St. Mary’s held off visiting Sherwood for the Crossroads Conference victory.

“We did a better job of passing,” St. Mary’s coach Krista Daniels said.

Mariel Saunders had 32 good passes/digs, Danielle Pocock 15 kills and Alexis Sirna added nine kills to lead the Trojans (6-4-1, 4-1).

St. Mary’s prevailed 25-18, 25-17 in the junior varsity match.

GRAIN VALLEY 25-25, ODESSA 17-13: Grain Valley had too much for host Odessa as Elise Gouldsmith had nine kills, Jordan Morrison eight kills, Devan Fairfield 14 assists and Megan Epping nine digs.

“We executed a great game plan,” Grain Valley coach Keri Peterson said. The Eagles improved to 9-2-1 and 2-0.

LEE’S SUMMIT NORTH 25-25, LEE’S SUMMIT 22-18: Host Lee’s Summit North prevailed in the Suburban Big Six match.

Shelby Wagner had eight kills and Ali Patterson posted six kills for the Tigers (1-4 conference). North improved to 10-3 and 2-3.
