The Patriots recorded 448 points, led by Madyson Smith’s 99, which was good for a seventh-place individual mark. Shayla Jochum finished 14th with a 108.

Lee’s Summit West came in first with a score of 384. Park Hill (387) was second, St. Joseph Central (430) finished third, North Kansas City (473) ended fifth and Ruskin (609) sixth.

“I know we have the potential to play better than what we saw today,” Truman coach Becky Costello said. “And I know the girls feel that way, too.”

MIDDLE SEVEN CONFERENCE CHAMPIONSHIPS: McKayla Henry earned all-conference honors for Fort Osage Monday at the Paradise Pointe Golf Complex.

Henry carded a 105 to finish seventh while teammate Liz Hupp recorded a 148.

Park Hill South notched the top team score with a 381. Fort Osage didn’t compile a team score.
