It should be a pleasant evening for trick-or-treaters. The National Weather Service says this afternoon’s high will be around 60 and then the temperature will fall to 44 overnight, though it shouldn’t be that cold in the early evening when goblins and ghouls go door to door. It might get cloudy, but no rain is expected.

Safety experts advise trick-or-treating in groups, supervised by an adult, and that trick-or-treaters use sidewalks, have flashlights and have reflective tape somewhere on the costume or treat bag.
