Movie review: ‘Sucker Punch’

Director Zach Snyder attempts to bounce back from the disappointing “Watchmen” with this female-dominated fantasy about a young girl (Emily Browning) who escapes her miserable reality by inhabiting a dream world where she and a half dozen other women carry out a violent escape from their male captors led by Jon Hamm. Abbie Cornish and Vanessa Hudgens co-star. Rated PG-13.
