Beth Bedsworth scored four goals and assisted on one as the Indians defeated North Kansas City 10-0 Thursday night.

Ciara Howerton had three goals and Paige Baumgartner two goals and two assists and Mercedes Marriott one goal for the Indians.

The game was stopped after 68 minutes because of the mercy rule.

“It was a really good game,” Fort Osage coach Andrew Fletcher said. “We dominated. Offensively, we looked really, really good.”

NKC posted a 3-0 junior varsity victory.

GRAIN VALLEY 3, LINCOLN PREP 1: Two unassisted Chelsey Wilson goals enabled host Grain Valley to defeat Lincoln Prep and even its record at 1-1. Devan Fairfield scored the other Grain Valley goal on Abby Winter’s assist.

“Tonight, the Eagles came out a little slow in the first half and struggled putting the ball in the goal,” coach Aleana Balistreri said.

“We took several shots on goal but could only manage gettng one in.

In the second half we came out on fire. We played quicker and smarter.

“Carson, Fairfield and Winter are freshmen and had a significant impact on the outcome of the game.
