Larry J. “Joe” Lungstrum, 55, of Warsaw suddenly passed away Dec. 19, 2012, at his home.

Larry J. “Joe” Lungstrum, 55, of Warsaw suddenly passed away Dec. 19, 2012, at his home.

He was born on June 22, 1957 in Kansas City, Mo., the son of David L. Lungtrum and Marvella Golden. Joe was a former bricklayer and an avid fisherman.

Joe is survived by his daughter Andrea J. Friend and her husband George, granddaughter Rylei Ann Friend, of Louisville, Neb., his mother Marvella Golden, of Grain Valley, Mo., his father David L. Lungstrum and wife Marilyn of Blue Springs, Mo., three brothers, David E. Lungstrum and his wife Sherrie of the Kansas City, Mo., area, Brad Lungstrum and wife Brooke of Blue Springs, Mo., Jeff Golden of Buckner, Mo., two step brothers; Mark Golden and his wife Christen and Curt Golden of Kansas City, Mo., many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews. He is also survived by his beloved dog Gizmo.

Joe was preceded in death by his stepfather Dallas Golden and his grandfather Eugene Lungstrum.

Memorial services for Larry J. (Joe) Lungstrum will be held at 6 p.m.  Thursday, December 27, 2012, at the Reser Funeral Home, in Warsaw, Missouri. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the memorial service from 5 until 6 p.m. Memorial Services will also be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, December 29, 2012, at the United Methodist Church of Resurrection, 601 NE Jefferson Street, Blue Springs, Mo. Visitation will be held from 1 to 2 p.m.
