Lee’s Summit Resource Recovery Facility, 2101 S.E. Hamblen Road, Lee’s Summit. Yard waste and storm debris are diverted from the landfill and turned into compost or mulch. Grass and leaves are accepted by the bag, and brush is accepted by the cubic yard. Pricing varies for residents and non-residents. Hours are 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday through Saturday.
