Nadine P. Vivian, 96, of Oak Grove, Missouri, formerly of Independence, Missouri, was called home to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Tuesday, March 22, 2011.

Nadine P. Vivian, 96, of Oak Grove, Missouri, formerly of Independence, Missouri, was called home to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Tuesday, March 22, 2011.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday, March 26, 2011, at Beverly Hills Baptist Church, 1229 W. 31st St., Independence, MO  64055. Graveside services at 2 p.m. Saturday, March 26, 2011, in Walnut Grove Cemetery, Boonville, MO.

Visitation will be from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m., Friday, March 25, 2011, at Speaks Suburban Chapel, 18020 E. 39th St., Independence, MO 64055.

Memorial contributions may be made to the church or Cancer Action, 4010 S. Lynn Ct., Independence, MO 64055.

Nadine was born March 5, 1915, in Bunceton, Missouri, to Rosswell and Rosa (Racy) Landon. She was an active and faithful member of the church since 1960.

Mrs. Vivian is survived by her children; Ron Vivian and wife, Dolores, Linda Dean and husband, Roger; grandchildren Ronda Vivian, Dorena Ahrens, Jessica Welling, John Shoaf, three step-grandchildren; great-grandchildren Christopher Ahrens, Madeline and Emily Welling, Tara Shoaf, eight step-great-grandchildren; great-great-grandson Hayden Shoaf, one step-great-great-grandchild; sister Vivian Weston; brother Vernon Landon.

She was preceded in death by her husband Ray Vivian in ‘90; son David Wayne Vivian in ‘97; two brothers and two sisters.
