She was diagnosed with a Germ Cell Brain Tumor in 2008 and has gone through 30 rounds of radiation and six rounds of chemo. She was then diagnosed with leukemia in 2009 and radiation necrosis in 2010, all of which has negatively impacted her vision. In addition, she underwent a bone marrow transplant in 2010, which was successful.
